Overview of Waves
Overview
This lesson will be an overview of basic characteristics of waves and their applications. Students will watch a 14-min video on basic properties of waves before coming to class. For the previous lessons, students have been performing different activities and experiments to better understand the waves, and this lesson will help students to organize all the materials they have been learning. This lesson will be used for students to connect all the topics they have been learning to applications. Good way for students to organize their thought would be concept map or writing assignment that will explain what they have been learning throughout the unit.

Wave behavior can be described in terms of how fast the disturbance spreads, and in terms of the distance between successive peaks of the disturbance (the wavelength). 4F/M7
